Transverse Wave Machine

This apparatus enables students to visually observe a large transverse wave in motion. They’ll be able to measure the velocity of the waves, determine the angular displacement of the arms of the machine, and calculate the velocity of the wave propagation. Kit includes 60 dowels, 2 handles, 120 spacers, nylon cord, and instructions.
