Investigating Solar Energy

Grades 5-7) Explore the power of the sun! Students will experiment with the solar heat collection process using black and white cans with thermometers to see the effect of different surfaces when collecting heat from the sun. After this activity, students can use an active solar panel and a solar motor with accessories to visualize and develop ideas on solar energy technology.
