Radiation Kit

Students investigate the effect different surfaces have on the absorption and radiation of energy. The kit has one white can and one black can, two lids and a light source with reflector and 200 watt bulb. Students construct graphs to illustrate relationships. The Radiation Kit is also valuable in discussions of precipitation in the atmosphere as the student can determine the temperature at which condensation begins.
