Psychrometer

The simplicity of operation and low cost make the Psychrometer Kit a useful teaching aid in lower elementary grades as in Junior or Senior High School classes. Complete assembly is done quickly and easily by fastening two vinyl-backed thermometers, one with wicking around its bulb, to the handle. After a period of time the student finds the difference in temperature between the wet and dry bulb thermometers. Then with the aid of standard tables or graphs each student can determine either relative humidity or dew point temperature.
