Investigating Brine Shrimp

A Study of a Tiny Creature (Grades 2-5) Brine shrimp are tiny crustaceans found in saltlakes and ocean bays. They are ideal classroom organisms: the eggs can be stored for long periods of time and hatched very quickly with minimal effort. Approximately six weeks are needed to complete the brine shrimp life cyle. Student’s powers of observation and ability to focus on detail are heightened with this unit.
