Effusion Kit

A kit for experimental derivation of the speed of molecules relative to their mass. Simple gases, (air, CO, and H) are allowed to effuse or bleed from the cylinder at a recorded rate. This data combined with known mass values of the gasses permit accurate qualitative conclusions. Consists of a cylinder and piston, effusion orifice, threeway valve, charging hose, wood mounting block and hardware.
