Centripetal Force Apparatus I

Contains all the material parts needed to perform basic experiments in centripetal force. A two hole rubber stopper serving as the whirling mass is connected to a nylon cord which runs through a glass tube with fire polished edges and a rubber safety jacket.

The mass can be whirled at different speeds and with different radii. The centripetal force exerted upon the cord to maintain constant acceleration is measured by the number of weights on the lower end of the cord.
