Air Track Glider Masses

The Air Track as a teaching apparatus is extended by changing the mass of the gliders. This set of four equal 105 gm masses allows an increased range of experimentation with conservation of momentum in elastic and inelastic collisions. Screws and wing nuts are included for attaching the masses to the gliders. Attaching two of these masses to an unloaded 15-cm Science Source glider doubles the mass of the glider.
