Acceleration Timer

This unit features dependable performance, reliability and low friction. Particularly useful for the PSSC curriculum, this timer can be mounted at any angle and operate at a constant speed. A small bead chain provides the impact point on a carbon disc under which passes a recording tape. The tape can be pulled by hand or by a falling mass and successive impact points will be recorded on tape by the bead. The unit provides and effective demonstration of acceleration due to gravity. The kit includes a 500-foot roll of ticker tape and a package of carbon discs required for operation of the unit. Power requirement: 1 1/2 volts
